NY Avon Breast Cancer Walk Postponed Until Oct. 26-28

The third annual New York Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day 60-mile walk from Bear Mountain, NY to New York City, originally scheduled for Sept. 21 to 23, has been postponed until October 26 - 28, according to sponsors.

"Our hearts are overwhelmed by what has happened in New York and across the country this week," said Dan Pallotta, CEO of Pallotta TeamWorks.

The Avon Breast Cancer 3-Days, created and produced by Pallotta Teamworks, are taking place in nine cities nationwide in 2001. More than 31,000 walkers have participated in 12 fundraising walks across the U.S. since 1998, generating net proceeds of more than $65 million to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer.
