QVC to Present Shoe Sale for Cancer on October 3

The home shopping channel QVC will present its annual "FFANY Shoes on Sale" on October 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET with net proceeds to benefit breast cancer research and education programs.

The broadcast will offer more than 100,000 pairs of shoes donated by members of the Fashion Footwear Association of New York, which will be sold at half of the normal retail price.

QVC will also feature "Shoe of the Day" segments every weekday throughout October between 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. ET. Additional monies will be raised through an eBay auction.

The Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation was created to support ongoing research and education programs in the fight against breast cancer and is supported by members of the Fashion Footwear Association of New York.
